ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Direct and mentor the Department Managers;
· Implement strategies to ensure that budgets and departmental objectives are met on a monthly
basis;
· Participate and support the objectives of the Senior Management team;
· Co-ordinate with the SVP Operations Ontario and/or SVP Finance Ontario on issues as they arise and the monthly financial statements;
· Ensure all staff are properly trained, supervised and supported;
· The implementation of training programs and government matters, including ensuring that all staff are in compliance with the training requirements as set out by the manufacturer and government;
· Abide by and follow the OpenRoad Mission, Vision and Values.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
· Valid G class license with clean driver abstract;
· Ability to learn new technology and repair and service procedures and specifications;
· Should be able to operate electronic diagnostic equipment;
· Ability to work individually and as part of a team;
· Up-to-date knowledge of automotive parts and their functions;
· Able to effectively communicate automotive issues clearly;
· High level of integrity and work ethic.
