Job Overview

We are seeking an energetic and reliable Shop Helper to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will support daily shop operations by assisting with cleaning, organizing, and maintaining a safe and efficient workspace. Your positive attitude and willingness to learn will help ensure smooth workflow and excellent customer service for internal teams and visitors alike.

Responsibilities

- Assist with cleaning work areas, tools, equipment, and fabrication stations to maintain a tidy environment
- Support the team in organizing materials, supplies, and inventory within the shop
- Help with basic shop tasks such as moving materials or finished products safely and efficiently
- Maintain safety standards by keeping walkways clear and reporting hazards promptly
- Provide friendly assistance to visitors or clients when they arrive at the shop




- Support team members with general tasks to ensure smooth daily operations
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures during daily activities

Qualifications

- Ability to perform cleaning duties consistently and thoroughly
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
- Willingness to learn new skills and support team members as needed
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift moderate loads throughout the shift
- Prior experience in a shop or warehouse environment is a plus but not required
- Basic understanding of safety practices in a manufacturing or workshop setting is advantageous
