We specialize in accessory dwelling units, known as ADUs, which are independent homes built in residential backyards. Our mission is to help homeowners expand their living options by delivering quality construction that is efficient and meets all code requirements.

We manage every step from design through permitting to final construction, combining innovation and sustainability in every project.

We are looking for a Site Superintendent to manage our construction projects on site.

Your role will include: Overseeing daily construction activities and crew performance

Coordinating with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure smooth operations

Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and building codes

Monitoring project progress and maintaining timelines

Communicating regularly with clients, project managers, and leadership

Quickly identifying and resolving on-site issues

Keeping accurate and detailed records and reports This position requires strong leadership, a hands-on approach, and excellent problem-solving skills.



You will play a key role in delivering backyard homes that meet Sophie’s Flats’ high standards.

Qualification We are seeking candidates who: Have proven experience as a site superintendent or in a similar construction leadership role

Are knowledgeable about Ontario building codes and safety standards

Possess strong organizational and communication skills

Can manage multiple subcontractors and schedules effectively

Are skilled in reading and interpreting construction drawings and plans

Are proactive, solution-focused, and able to work independently

Hold relevant certifications or training in construction management or safety, which is an asset Experience in residential construction or ADUs is highly valued.
