Overview

We are seeking a motivated and versatile Skilled Labourer / Carpenter Helper to join our dynamic construction team. As a key member of our crew, you will assist with a wide range of tasks, ensuring projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards.

Duties

- Assist with reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to support project execution
- Help with concrete forming, rebar installation, and masonry work to lay strong foundations and structures
- Support carpentry tasks including cabinet installation, wood framing, woodworking, and siding installation
- Participate in restoration projects by preparing surfaces, applying finishes, and performing repairs
- Operate hand tools, power tools, CNC machines, and other equipment safely and effectively
- Aid in roofing, flooring installation, tile laying, plumbing, electrical work, and caulking as needed
- Perform heavy lifting and material handling to ensure timely progress on-site while adhering to safety protocols




- Assist with construction painting and siding work to enhance building aesthetics and durability
- Support assembly tasks for various fixtures and components as directed by supervisors
- Follow safety guidelines diligently while maintaining a clean and organized work environment

Skills

- Hands-on experience with concrete forming, masonry, carpentry, roofing, and siding techniques
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, CNC machinery, and woodworking equipment
- Knowledge of construction estimating processes and material requirements
- Experience in rebar installation, tile laying, flooring installation, plumbing, electrical systems, and caulking
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining proper technique
- Familiarity with restoration processes and handyman tasks for repair projects
- Basic understanding of schematics for electrical or plumbing systems is a plus
- Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive attitude towards learning current skills in construction trades
