Salary Range: up to $120,369 based on OCT standing

Qualifications:

- OCT qualified teacher
- University degree in Special Education or S.E.R.T. certified
- Experience in supporting a school special education program
- Experience in diagnosing and assessing learning disorders
- Proven effective classroom and student behavior management skills
- Knowledge of current special education practices and methodologies
- Knowledge and understanding of Provincial, local, and federal regulations and policies affecting special education
- Familiarity with Ministry of Education documents (e.g., Growing Success)
- Working knowledge of educational technology applications
- Robust technology skills
- Ability to travel extensively to remote fly-in First Nations throughout the school year.
