Overview

We are seeking a friendly and organized Store Clerk to join our retail team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, managing sales transactions, and maintaining an organized store environment. This role offers an opportunity to develop retail and sales skills in a energetic setting, with a focus on creating a positive shopping experience for customers. Bilingual abilities and experience in technology sales or product demos are considered valuable assets.

Duties

- Greet customers warmly and assist with their shopping needs
- Operate POS systems accurately for sales and returns
- Handle cash, credit card transactions, and perform cash handling duties with precision
- Conduct product demonstrations and upsell items to enhance customer purchases
- Maintain merchandising standards, including stocking shelves and organizing displays
- Provide information about products, including technical features for technology-related items
- Assist customers with inquiries via phone or in person using professional phone etiquette
- Manage inventory levels and communicate stock needs to management
- Ensure the store remains clean, organized, and welcoming at all times
- Support team members during busy periods and contribute to a positive work environment

Requirements





- Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are a plus
- Previous experience in retail sales, cashiering, or customer service preferred
- Knowledge of POS systems and basic math skills for handling transactions
- Ability to perform product demos and explain technical features effectively
- Excellent organizational skills and time management to prioritize tasks efficiently
- Demonstrated ability to upsell products and enhance sales through suggestive selling techniques
- Good phone etiquette and customer interaction skills
- Merchandising experience is desirable but not mandatory
- Ability to work well within a team in a fast-paced workplace

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.80-$18.00 per hour
