Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Supervisor to lead and inspire our retail team, ensuring exceptional customer service and operational excellence. In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily store activities, manage staff performance, and drive sales growth through effective merchandising, team management, and strategic planning. Duties

- Supervise daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and inventory management
- Lead, motivate, and develop team members through coaching, training, and performance evaluations
- Oversee customer service standards to ensure a positive shopping experience for all guests
- Manage merchandising efforts to optimize product placement, pricing strategies, and promotional displays
- Coordinate recruiting efforts by participating in interviewing and onboarding new staff members
- Utilize POS (Point of Sale) systems for sales transactions, returns, and inventory tracking
- Monitor sales performance metrics to meet or exceed sales targets and improve overall store profitability
- Implement marketing initiatives and promotional campaigns to attract customers and boost sales




- Maintain compliance with company policies, health & safety regulations, and cash handling procedures

Requirements

- Proven supervising experience in retail or customer service environments with strong team management skills
- Demonstrated expertise in recruiting, training & development, and performance management
- Knowledge of payroll processing, bookkeeping, budgeting, and organizational skills for administrative efficiency
- Familiarity with merchandising techniques, pricing strategies, POS systems, and sales management tools
- Excellent communication skills coupled with phone etiquette and customer service excellence
- Strong negotiation skills for vendor relations or conflict resolution when necessary
- Ability to handle cash handling accurately while maintaining high levels of integrity and trustworthiness
- Time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math proficiency for inventory counting, pricing adjustments, and financial recordkeeping
