Full-Time Support Worker 3 (Job #: 42- 310726) Compensation: $28.67/ hour plus vacation pay; 2.5% in lieu of perks Location: London, ON Site: SIL Schedule: 32-40 hrs/week; varied shifts including evenings, weekends, and public holidays Apply by: Wednesday, August 19, 2026, at 11:59 p.m.

Summary of Roles & Responsibilities:

Working with adults with developmental disabilities, concurrent disorders and/or dual diagnoses in an assisted-living environment providing 24/7 support to develop daily living skills that support community integration/engagement Develop and maintain therapeutic relationships and attend to the diverse needs of participants Provide a safe and supportive environment for participants requiring varying levels of behaviourial interventions; remain calm and focused in crisis situations while utilizing effective de-escalation and decision-making skills Collaborate with team to implement care plans that support involvement in person-centred programs that promote educational, behavioural, developmental, psychological, and emotional growth Work successfully with diverse groups and demonstrate commitment to principles of equity, diversity, inclusion, and justice Qualifications:

Completion of a post-secondary diploma in Child & Youth Worker (CYC) or Social Service Worker (SSW) - or an equivalent Human Services program.

Please Note: Personal Support Worker (PSW) and Developmental Services Worker (DSW) certifications do not meet the educational requirements for this position.

Minimum two (2)



years of related experience providing behaviour intervention support; knowledge of concurrent disorders and/or dual diagnoses and strategies for support Reliable with a demonstrated commitment to being a dependable member of a team Understanding of support requirements specific to the roles and responsibilities of the job Proficiency in both verbal and written communication Strong leadership, mentorship, advocacy, organization, communication, and problem-solving skills, in addition to attention to detail Ability to work collaboratively with the team, and independently as necessary Capacity to establish, implement, and maintain professional and personal boundaries Multilingualism and having diverse lived experiences are considered assets Requirements:

Valid Class G (full) Driver’s License with a 3-year Uncertified Driver Record Satisfactory current (within the last 6 months) Vulnerable Sector Check Physical Health assessment: verification of up-to-date immunisations, negative TB Skin test (within the last 6 months), COVID vaccination status (2 doses), and ability to meet the physical and psychological requirements of the position * Current Standard First Aid & CPR, Level C with AED training preferred Humana Community Services is an equal-opportunity employer committed to an inclusive, barrier-free recruitment and selection process.
