Support Specialist
Toronto, ON | On-site Full-time | Monday–Thursday (8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.) Friday (8:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.) Our client, Union Hearing Aid Centre (UHAC), is looking for a Support Specialist for their Cochlear and MED-EL teams. This role is ideal for an experienced administrator who enjoys client interaction, healthcare operations, and working in a collaborative, patient-focused environment. This is an existing vacancy and is conveniently located in the heart of downtown Toronto easily accessible by the TTC.
The Opportunity
In this role, you will serve as a Canadian representative supporting Cochlear and MED-EL products and services, ensuring processes run efficiently across order management, billing, inventory compliance, and client support. Key Responsibilities
Manage patient and third-party purchases
Coordinate device upgrades for eligible patients
Complete orders for Cochlear and MED-EL products
Prepare month-end statements for head office
Maintain Health Canada compliance for inventory and new device launches
Support new device launches across Canadian Cochlear Implant centres
Provide exceptional customer service (in person, phone, and email)
Process registration cards and warranty returns
Coordinate shipping, tracking, and logistics
Order and maintain stock for the practice What You Bring
Post-secondary education or equivalent professional experience
Experience with medical devices or healthcare products
Knowledge of third-party billing (ODSP, ACSD, DVA, WSIB) considered an asset
Solid administrative and customer service skills
Proficiency with databases and Microsoft Office
Robust multitasking and prioritization abilities
