Reporting to the Supervisor of Supply Chain, the successful candidate will be responsible for the timely distribution of clean linen throughout the Queen Site and the preparation and return of soiled linen to the laundry service. The candidate is also responsible for shipping, tracking, and returning COG (customer-owned goods), e.g., comforters, patient clothing, etc. You will assist in tracking and filling Linen orders; therefore, stocktaking experience is vital.
This position does require interaction with CAMH clients.
Responsibilities The timely reporting of maintenance and safety issues regarding the equipment is required. The ability to follow the department's safety protocols, policies, and procedures is essential. This position includes repeated bending and heavy lifting, pushing, and pulling in keeping with the physical demands of loading and unloading Linen.
This position may require reassignment to other areas within the Supply Chain Department. This position requires linen inventory and constant communication with the linen Company, ECOTEX, and the creation of an expense report to be submitted to the finance department. This position is currently located at the Queen Site.
Qualifications
Candidates will have a Secondary School diploma with at least 6 months of relevant experience. The successful candidate must demonstrate the ability to problem solve, and work efficiently and effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Experience with linen carts and pallet movers is considered an asset. The successful candidate must have an understanding of Inventory procedures and be in constant contact with the supplier for inventory purposes,
also responsible for sending bills to the supervisor for approval of payment. Strong customer service skills when dealing with both clients and staff are required.
The ability to work to strict deadlines and handle multiple priorities is essential. Bilingualism (English/French) is considered an asset. Candidates require the ability to work effectively in a wide range of settings with individuals from diverse backgrounds.

Salary Range: $23.64-29.15/hour
