Job Summary

Sushi Mura is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated part-time servers to join our vibrant team! As a server, you will be the welcoming face of our restaurant, providing exceptional guest service while ensuring a memorable dining experience. Responsibilities

- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Micros POS
- Serve sushi, drinks, and other menu items efficiently while maintaining presentation standards
- Handle cash transactions with precision, including cash handling and cashiering duties
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in dining and service areas in compliance with food safety regulations
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Assist in food preparation or kitchen support as needed to ensure smooth operations




- Manage time effectively during busy periods to deliver prompt service and guest satisfaction
- Follow proper food handling procedures and ensure all health and safety protocols are adhered to

Experience

- Previous food service or restaurant experience preferred but not required; training provided for eager learners
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms is advantageous
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively
- Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices in the food industry
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently with excellent time management skills
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately
- Experience in hospitality or serving roles that involve upselling and guest interaction is a plus
