Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Swim Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in swimming and teaching, with the ability to inspire and educate swimmers of all ages and skill levels. As a Swim Instructor, you will be responsible for creating a safe and enjoyable learning environment while helping students develop their swimming skills and confidence in the water.

Responsibilities

- Operate at an After school program meet children at designated meeting spot take attendance.
- Conduct group swim lessons for various age groups, from beginners to advanced swimmers.
- Assess each swimmer's skill level and tailor lessons accordingly to meet their needs.
- Teach proper swimming techniques, safety practices, and water safety awareness.
- Monitor students' progress and provide constructive feedback to encourage improvement.
- Maintain a safe and clean pool environment, ensuring all safety protocols are followed.




- Communicate effectively with students and their parents regarding progress and any concerns.
- Participate in ongoing training sessions to stay updated on best practices in swim instruction.

Requirements

- Proven experience in teaching swimming or coaching swimming teams is preferred.
- Strong swimming skills with a thorough understanding of various strokes and techniques.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with students of all ages.
- Certification in CPR, First Aid, NL and instructors.
- Ability to work flexible hours.

Job Type: Part time Pay: $50.00-$65.00 per hour
