As a Tandoor Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking traditional dishes using a tandoor oven, ensuring high-quality food service for our guests.

Responsibilities

- Prepare and cook authentic dishes using a tandoor oven, including bread, and vegetables
- Ensure all food items are prepared according to recipes and presentation standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and cooking areas in compliance with food safety regulations
- Assist in food preparation tasks such as chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients
- Serve dishes efficiently while maintaining excellent customer service standards
- Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and hygiene at all times




- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy service hours

Skills

- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or restaurant service, preferably with a focus on Indian cuisine or tandoor cooking
- Strong knowledge of food handling and safety regulations within the food industry
- Ability to operate and maintain a tandoor oven safely and effectively
- Excellent skills in meal preparation, serving, and food presentation
- Experience with kitchen equipment maintenance and basic troubleshooting
- Positive communication skills and ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in the culinary industry
