Job Purpose The Team Lead is responsible for coordinating, directing, and supporting production line employees to ensure production goals are achieved safely, efficiently, and in accordance with customer specifications and company quality standards.

Duties and Responsibilities

- Oversee the safe and efficient operation of production lines while meeting production rates established by quotation.
- Monitor and maintain adequate inventory levels on the production line to ensure uninterrupted operations.
- Communicate inventory requirements to the Warehouse/Line Setup personnel in a timely manner to prevent production delays.
- Ensure production is completed according to customer specifications and work instructions.
- Complete all required quality documentation, including line start-up forms, line clearance records, lot code records, and other required paperwork.
- Organize the return of unused inventory to the warehouse upon job completion, ensuring all pallets are properly wrapped, counted, labeled, and prepared for storage.
- Accurately record production quantities on work orders and complete employee timesheets for payroll purposes.
- Train and mentor production line employees as required.
- Provide transparent instructions and direction to production staff throughout the shift.
- Encourage open communication by listening to employee feedback and addressing concerns appropriately.
- Ensure all employees follow company quality standards, policies,



and procedures.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment by following all health and safety regulations.
- Carry out additional duties as assigned by the Plant Supervisor and/or Plant Manager.

Required Skills and Experience

- High school diploma (Grade 12) or equivalent.
- Minimum of one (1) year of related manufacturing, warehouse, or production experience.
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience is considered an asset.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
- Strong mathematical aptitude and attention to detail.
- Ability to supervise, motivate, and work effectively with employees.
- Ability to safely operate production equipment and understand its proper use.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Physical Requirements

- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift.
- Ability to work in cold room with 4 degrees Celsius
- Ability to lift upto 25lbs.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
- Ability to work effectively with large groups of employees.
- Ability to lift, carry, and move materials as required.
- Ability to comply with all required personal protective equipment (PPE) and safety requirements.

Job Types: Permanent, Full-time Pay: $18.40 per hour
