Job Title: Technical Support Engineer – Collaboration Technology

Location: Halifax

Salary: £28,000 – £35,000 per annum

Hours: Full Time, Permanent (Monday to Friday)

Our client is a successful technology solutions provider delivering advanced workplace technology services to a broad customer base. They are looking for a Technical Support Engineer to join their team, supporting customers with complex technical issues and delivering high quality solutions.

This role would suit someone from an IT support, field engineering or technical services background who enjoys troubleshooting, customer interaction and taking ownership of issues through to resolution.

You’ll work with a range of collaboration and workplace technologies, supporting customers remotely and when required on site while developing your technical expertise within a growing business.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide technical support across a range of workplace technology solutions.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues remotely and at customer locations.
- Manage support cases from initial investigation through to resolution.
- Maintain accurate technical records and documentation.
- Work closely with customers, suppliers and internal teams to deliver effective solutions.
- Carry out proactive system checks and preventative maintenance activities.
- Support implementation, onboarding and technical improvement projects.
- Escalate complex issues appropriately while maintaining ownership of customer communication.

Experience Required





- Previous experience within technical support, IT support, field engineering or a similar environment.
- Solid troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose technical problems.
- Experience supporting customers within an SLA driven environment.
- Excellent communication skills and customer focused approach.
- Ability to prioritise workloads and manage multiple technical issues.
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a technical team.
- Willingness to travel to customer sites when required.
