About the Role
We're looking for a hands-on Automation Field Technician who enjoys travel, solving technical challenges, and working directly with customers to commission, troubleshoot, and optimize industrial equipment.
Responsibilities
- Install, commission, and start up industrial equipment at customer sites
- Troubleshoot electrical, automation, mechanical, and control systems
- Support customers through maintenance, repairs, and technical problem-solving
- Train operators and maintenance teams on equipment operation and best practices
- Work closely with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Sales teams to resolve field issues and improve products
- Prepare service reports and technical documentation
- Provide remote and on-site technical support across North America
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in industrial automation, field service, manufacturing, construction, or related industries
- Strong troubleshooting skills in electrical, controls, and mechanical systems
- Ability to read electrical and mechanical drawings
- Knowledge of PLCs, pneumatics, hydraulics, motors, and industrial equipment
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Self-motivated, adaptable, and comfortable working independently
