Must Have Skills

Temenos IRIS & Integration Expertise

• Hands-on experience with IRIS Framework on Temenos.

- Strong understanding of Temenos integration architecture.
- Experience with API deployment.
- Experience performing field-level mapping for:
- Payments products
- Arrangement Architecture (AA) products
- Ability to produce Interface Requirements Documents (IRDs).
- Experience with NFR definition and performance tuning of APIs across integration layers.

Valuable to Have

• Experience working with Canadian Financial Institutions.

Key Responsibilities

Platform Architecture & Development

• Develop and execute a strategic roadmap for platform development aligned with business goals and enhanced user experience.

- Ensure platform architecture is robust, scalable, and secure.
- Define and enforce best practices for architecture, design, coding, and technical standards.
- Guide platform optimization and modernization initiatives.

Technical Leadership

• Provide technical leadership and guidance to platform teams.

- Lead cross-functional teams including:
- Engineers
- Architects
- Product Managers
- Foster a collaborative and innovative delivery environment.
- Drive technical decision-making and platform improvements.

API & Integration Management

• Lead platform-related integration initiatives from planning through delivery.

- Coordinate with stakeholders to define:
- Technical requirements
- Integration objectives
- Ensure API performance, reliability, and scalability.

Platform Performance & Operations

• Implement and maintain metrics to monitor:

- Platform performance
- Reliability
- User engagement




- Use data-driven insights to identify and deliver improvements.
- Support multi-server environments and platform operations.

Stakeholder & Vendor Management

• Collaborate with internal teams, including:

- Product
- Data Platforms
- Retail Teams
- Ensure platform solutions meet business and user requirements.
- Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers to optimize platform functionality and integrations.

Compliance & Security

• Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations related to:

- Platform usage
- Data security
- Privacy requirements
- Incorporate regulatory requirements and legacy system modernization into platform roadmaps.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

- 8+ years of experience in platform development, integration, and management.
- 2+ years of experience in a technical leadership role.
- Understanding of Canadian banking and payments ecosystem, including partner landscape, is an asset.
- Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
- Knowledge of data privacy and security regulations.
- Proficiency across platform full stack:
- Web
- Application
- Database
- Strong understanding of:
- Cloud technologies (AWS, Azure)
- API development
- Microservices architecture
- Platform architecture
- Integration technologies
- Familiarity with:
- Multi-server environments
- DevOps principles
- Monitoring tools such as Splunk
- Strong technical leadership skills with experience in:
- Technical decision-making
- Roadmap development
- Platform optimization
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
