About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President, Finance, Administration & ReStore to provide executive financial leadership across its diverse and operationally complex organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the financial aspects of the company's various business lines, including land development, residential construction, retail and e-commerce, and mortgage holding.

This role is pivotal in holding the financial picture of the organization together and requires a strategic thinker who can partner with the CEO to model and scenario-plan bold, ambitious ideas. The VP will also be involved in budget management, capital planning, and providing strategic oversight of the ReStore operations, which is a significant social enterprise for the company.





Applicants must have a CPA designation and a minimum of 10 years' of progressive senior financial leadership experience, with a strong preference for those with a background in retail, construction, real estate development, or similar multi-business-line operational environments.
The role demands an entrepreneurial mindset, the ability to lead through change, and a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion. The VP will be expected to build and mentor a strong team, manage financial and risk reporting to the Board, and ensure compliance with grant and contribution administration.

Strong communication and relationship-building skills are essential, as is the ability to work effectively in a multicultural workplace. Experience with CMHC or similar government-backed lending programs is an asset.
