Overview

You will support the dispatching process by coordinating freight movements, managing communication between drivers and clients, and ensuring smooth operations. Your proactive approach will help enhance customer satisfaction and contribute to the overall success of our transportation management system. Duties

- Assist in scheduling and dispatching trucks using transportation management systems to ensure timely deliveries and pickups
- Communicate effectively with drivers and clients while maintaining professional email & phone etiquette
- Enter data accurately into systems to track freight movements, shipment details, and delivery statuses
- Support coordinating of inbound and outbound freight, verifying documentation, and updating shipment records
- Analyze transportation data to identify opportunities for efficiency improvements within the supply chain
- Maintain organized records of dispatch activities, shipment logs, and related documentation for audit purposes
- Collaborate with 3PL providers (third-party logistics)



to facilitate seamless freight handling and problem resolution

Skills

- Proficiency with transportation management systems (TMS) for scheduling and tracking shipments
- Strong understanding of supply chain logistics and freight operations
- Excellent data entry skills with high accuracy; ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously under pressure
- Exceptional communication skills, including phone etiquette and transparent verbal/written correspondence
- Typing speed conducive to efficient data entry; comfortable answering phone calls from drivers/customers for rapid communication
