Job Overview

We are currently looking for an experienced and motivated Truck & Trailer Mechanic to join our maintenance team. In this role, you will be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining heavy-duty trucks, trailers, and other industrial equipment to ensure they operate safely and efficiently. Responsibilities

- Inspect, diagnose, and repair heavy-duty trucks, trailers, and other equipment.
- Perform preventive maintenance on diesel engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
- Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues using diagnostic tools and equipment.
- Read and interpret technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and repair schematics.
- Perform welding and fabrication work when required.
- Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts, excavators, or cranes to assist with repairs.
- Complete work orders, maintenance records, and inspection reports accurately.
- Ensure all repairs are completed according to safety regulations and company standards.
- Work collaboratively with the maintenance team to minimize equipment downtime.





Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Truck & Trailer Mechanic.
- Experience working on heavy-duty trucks, trailers, and diesel engines.
- Dealership experience is considered a strong asset.
- Experience with Caterpillar (CAT) or similar heavy equipment is preferred.
- Solid knowledge of electrical systems, diagnostics, hydraulics, and mechanical repairs.
- Ability to read wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Welding and fabrication experience is an asset.
- Ability to safely lift heavy equipment and work in a physically demanding environment.
- Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.
