Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Truck Dispatcher to coordinate freight operations and ensure efficient transportation management. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, proficiency with transportation management systems, and a solid understanding of supply chain processes. This role involves scheduling, tracking shipments, and maintaining seamless communication between drivers, clients, and internal teams to optimize delivery performance and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

- Coordinate and schedule truck routes using transportation management systems such as SyteLine and AS400.

- Manage shipping and receiving schedules to ensure timely delivery and pickup of freight.

- Utilize multi-line phone systems to communicate effectively with drivers, clients, and internal departments.

- Enter data accurately into relevant systems, maintaining detailed records of shipments, delays, and other logistics activities.

- Analyze freight data to identify opportunities for efficiency improvements within the supply chain.

- Maintain excellent phone etiquette and communication skills to handle inquiries and resolve issues promptly.





- Monitor shipment statuses, troubleshoot delays or problems, and provide updates to stakeholders.

- Collaborate with 3PL providers and internal teams to coordinate freight movements smoothly.

- Perform shipping & receiving duties as needed, ensuring compliance with company policies.

Requirements

- Proven experience with transportation management systems such as SyteLine or AS400.

- Strong understanding of supply chain logistics, freight operations, and shipping & receiving procedures.

- Excellent data entry skills with high accuracy; proficiency in typing and multi-line phone systems.

- Analytical skills to assess logistics data for process improvements.

- Exceptional communication skills with qualified phone etiquette.

- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.

- Experience working within 3PL environments is a plus.

- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation and analysis tasks.

Pay: $25,000.00-$30,000.00 per year
