Duties

- Safely operate heavy-duty trucks to deliver goods to designated locations, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure optimal performance and safety standards
- Load and unload cargo with care, utilizing proper lifting techniques to handle heavy items efficiently
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation, including manifests, logs, and delivery receipts
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to coordinate schedules and confirm delivery details
- Follow all safety protocols during driving, loading, unloading,



and while on the road to prevent accidents or injuries
- Report any vehicle issues or incidents promptly to ensure quick resolution and continuous safety compliance

Skills

- Proven experience in driving heavy trucks with a clean driving record
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during loading and unloading processes
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws, safety regulations, and best practices for commercial driving
- Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and customers
- Physical stamina to handle long hours on the road and manual tasks involved in freight handling
- Attention to detail for accurate documentation and adherence to delivery schedules
