Join our dynamic team as a Part-Time Tutor, dedicated to empowering students through engaging and personalized instruction during evenings and weekends. This role is ideal for licensed Manitoba teachers who are passionate about fostering academic growth and confidence in learners of various ages. As a Tutor, you will deliver tailored tutoring sessions that inspire, motivate, and support students in achieving their educational goals.

Responsibilities

- Provide one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions in various subjects aligned with student needs and curriculum standards
- Develop customized lesson plans that address individual learning styles and challenges
- Assess student progress regularly and adjust teaching strategies accordingly to maximize understanding and retention
- Foster a positive, encouraging learning environment that promotes confidence and enthusiasm for learning
- Communicate effectively with students, parents,



and guardians to update on progress and discuss strategies for improvement
- Maintain accurate records of tutoring sessions, attendance, and student achievements
- Support students in developing study skills, organizational strategies, and test preparation techniques

Skills

- Proven experience in tutoring or teaching across multiple subjects
- Robust communication skills to clearly explain concepts and motivate learners
- Ability to work effectively with children and adolescents of diverse backgrounds and skill levels
- Classroom experience that demonstrates patience, adaptability, and a student-centered approach
- Excellent organizational skills to plan lessons, track progress, and manage schedules efficiently
- Passion for education and a commitment to helping students succeed in their academic pursuits

Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour

Licence/Certification

- Manitoba Teaching Certificate (required)
