VP Finance - Toronto (3 days in office)

As the business continues to scale, they are seeking an experienced Vice President, Finance to join the executive leadership team. Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, this role will serve as the organization's senior finance leader, partnering closely with the CEO and executive team to drive financial strategy, operational excellence, risk management, and long-term value creation.

This is a highly strategic leadership opportunity for a commercially minded finance executive who enjoys building scalable infrastructure, leading high-performing teams, and partnering across all areas of the business.

About the Position

The Vice President, Finance will have overall responsibility for the finance function, including:

- Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A;)
- Financial Reporting
- Tax and Regulatory Compliance
- Treasury & Cash Management
- Finance Operations
- HR Compliance & Compensation Planning The successful candidate will play a critical role in supporting executive decision-making, strengthening financial controls, optimizing working capital, and helping prepare the organization for its next stage of growth.

Qualifications





- CPA designation required.
- Progressive senior finance leadership experience, ideally within a high-growth consumer products, retail, wholesale, or omnichannel business.
- Deep expertise in financial reporting, FP&A;, treasury, tax, and corporate finance.
- Strong understanding of ASPE, financial controls, and regulatory compliance.
- Experience managing complex, multi-entity or multinational operations.
- Proven ability to build and lead high-performing finance teams through periods of growth and transformation.
- Commercially minded with exceptional analytical and strategic thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and executive stakeholder management abilities.
- Experience partnering with executive leadership on strategic planning, operational performance, and business growth initiatives.
