From broadcast series to national commercial campaigns, we combine traditional VFX techniques with AI-assisted workflows to deliver high-quality work efficiently without compromising creative standards. We’re looking for a Junior–Intermediate VFX Compositor / Generalist to join our growing Toronto team.
This role is primarily focused on compositing and shot finishing, with opportunities to contribute across a range of VFX and AI-assisted workflows. It’s ideal for an early-career artist with robust fundamentals who wants to grow as a compositor while exploring how generative AI is reshaping post-production.
Experience with AI tools is a plus, but it isn’t required. We’re equally interested in artists with solid technical and creative instincts who are eager to learn, experiment, and adapt. What you’ll be doing
Compositing AI-generated and traditional VFX elements into live-action plates
Preparing footage through roto, masking, tracking, keying, paint, and clean-up
Matching colour, lighting, grain, focus, and movement to create seamless final images
Working with producers and senior artists to develop practical shot approaches
Troubleshooting challenging shots and finding efficient solutions within hybrid VFX pipelines
Performing quality control to ensure work meets commercial and broadcast standards
Contributing to motion graphics, generative workflows, and other generalist tasks as needed
Helping refine internal workflows and best practices as the studio evolves
What we’re looking for
Approximately 1–4 years of experience in visual effects, compositing, motion graphics, or post-production
Proficiency with Adobe After Effects or Fusion A strong understanding of compositing principles and shot finishing
Experience with roto, tracking, keying, paint, and clean-up A good eye for detail, continuity, realism, colour, and image quality The ability to take feedback and carry revisions through to a polished final shot
Comfort working across multiple projects and adapting to evolving workflows
Clear communication skills and a collaborative attitude
Curiosity about AI-assisted creative workflows and emerging production technology
Nice to have
Experience with generative platforms such as Higgsfield, Google Flow, Runway, or similar tools
Experience with Blender, 3D animation, or motion graphics
Familiarity with Mocha, SynthEyes, FTrack, or other tracking software
Experience working on commercial, broadcast, or feature productions
Experience preparing footage or visual references for generative workflows We’re a boutique studio, so versatility is one of our biggest strengths. Our artists wear multiple hats, collaborate closely, and have the opportunity to help shape how AI-assisted visual effects are used in professional production. This role offers the opportunity to build your compositing skills, work across a wide variety of creative challenges, and gain hands-on experience with emerging workflows alongside traditional VFX craft.
