We're seeking a Vice President, Tax-Aware Investing to help shape the future of tax-efficient investing at PICTON.

About the Role This newly created leadership role sits at the intersection of Investments, Distribution, Product, Marketing, and Compliance . You'll be responsible for advancing our tax-aware investment capabilities, supporting advisors with practical tax strategies, and helping develop the firm's tax-focused thought leadership.

This is an opportunity to become a trusted voice on tax-efficient investing while influencing portfolio design, product innovation, advisor education, and client outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

- Serve as the firm's subject matter expert on tax-aware investing and after-tax outcomes.
- Partner with Portfolio Management teams to integrate tax efficiency into portfolio construction and investment strategies.
- Advise on tax implications related to product development, investment solutions, and client outcomes.
- Monitor changes in Canadian tax legislation and assess their impact on investors and portfolios.
- Act as a trusted resource for financial advisors across Canada.
- Participate in advisor meetings, conferences, webinars, roadshows, and client events.
- Develop educational tools and practical resources that help advisors communicate tax-efficient investing strategies.
- Support business growth by strengthening advisor relationships and confidence.

Thought Leadership
- Help develop and evolve PICTON's tax philosophy and advisor-facing narrative.
- Create compelling content including articles,



white papers, presentations, podcasts, and videos.
- Collaborate with Compliance, Legal, Marketing, and Product teams to ensure communications are accurate and effective.
- Represent PICTON at industry events and media opportunities.
- Partner with Product and Investment teams to develop tax-aware investment solutions, including:
- Direct indexing
- Tax-effective income solutions
- After-tax performance analytics

What We're Looking For
- CPA, CA, TEP, and/or advanced tax designation (LLM Tax preferred).
- Deep expertise in Canadian personal and investment taxation.
- Strong understanding of tax-efficient portfolio construction, wealth planning, estate planning, trusts, and registered accounts.
- Experience working with advisors, portfolio managers, investment firms, or high-net-worth clients.
- Ability to translate complex tax concepts into practical, actionable insights.
- Strong presentation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Experience creating advisor-facing or investor-facing content is an asset.
- French language capability is considered a strong asset.
