Job Overview

We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Associate to join our Team at the Calgary Main location. The warehouse associate will assist in organizing and moving products in the warehouse to meet company safety and productivity standards. This position reports to the Store Manager.

Responsibilities

- Responsibilities:
- Picking customers and interbranch orders and double-checking for accuracy prior to shipment.
- Unload inbound trucks and trailers (in compliance with safe material handling procedures) and stage the goods in the receiving lane as directed.
- Process inbound shipments, including sorting, quality checking, and count verification.
- Count, weigh, and scan products using RF scanners or inventory management systems.
- Perform put-away of product on all levels of racking using appropriate powered material handling equipment where required.
- Operate manual and motorized warehouse equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, hand trucks, forklifts). Forklift license required.
- Other duties, such as organizing shelves, cleaning the warehouse, and other tasks as assigned by the manager.

Requirements

- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.




- Strong work ethic, with the ability to deliver exceptional service in a rapid-paced environment.
- Positive attitude towards customers and co-workers.
- Ability to follow instructions, pay attention to details and multitask.
- Highly motivated, with the desire to be successful and learn about the product.
- Forklift experience is beneficial in this role.
- Must be physically fit and capable of lifting to 50 LBS independently, and heavier items with mechanical assistance or team lifts"
- Mandatory use of CSA-approved steel-toe boots.
- 8-10 years of previous warehouse or general labor experience preferred.
