Our crew serves the film and TV industry, and we need someone who’s ready to roll up their sleeves and bring a mix of energy, precision, and pride to the work.

We’re Materialistic — a scrappy, hands-on sewing and screen fabrication shop. We make the massive green and blue screens (plus other weird and wonderful things) that help bring movies and shows to life.

We’re a small-but-mighty team based in a sunlit, shabby-chic warehouse in South Etobicoke. Right now, we’re looking for a Production Assistant for our Warehouse to help us keep our materials moving, our orders accurate, and our space safe and organized.

You’ll Thrive in This Role If You…

- Enjoy physical, hands-on work and keeping things organized
- Take pride in accuracy when pulling, packing, or inspecting materials
- Can lift, carry, and move large fabrics and equipment safely
- Work well as part of a team and can follow established processes
- Can switch gears quickly when priorities shift
- Are dependable and show up ready to go every day

Bonus points if you’ve worked in a warehouse, logistics, set/props, retail stockroom, or other role involving organization and movement of goods.

What You'll Do

- Receive, store, and track incoming and outgoing fabric shipments
- Inspect and clean fabrics and materials
- Pull and prepare orders for rentals and sales




- Pack and label orders so they’re ready to ship
- Keep the warehouse and storage areas clean, safe, and organized
- Maintain inventory of cleaning products, tools, and supplies
- Help with light repairs to fabrics when needed
- Pitch in with other tasks as part of our close-knit team

- A permanent, full-time role (Monday to Friday, 8:30am–5:00pm)
