We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Warehouse Worker to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the flow of goods within our warehouse setting. This position involves various tasks related to inventory management, order fulfillment, and materials handling, ensuring that products are stored, picked, packed, and shipped accurately and efficiently.
Duties
- Operate warehouse equipment including forklifts, pallet jacks, and order pickers to move products safely within the facility.
- Load and unload shipments from trucks, ensuring proper handling of materials to prevent damage.
- Follow OSHA guidelines to ensure a safe working environment while operating heavy equipment and machinery.
- Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize workflow and improve operational efficiency.
- Participate in training programs to enhance skills related to warehouse distribution and heavy equipment operation.
Experience Candidates should possess the following skills and experience:
- Previous warehouse experience is preferred.
- Experience operating heavy equipment including forklifts is essential.
- Knowledge of materials handling techniques and safety regulations (OSHA).
- Mechanical knowledge related to warehouse operations is a plus.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during stocking, picking & packing, and shipping & receiving tasks.
