Responsibilities
- Prepare food items efficiently and according to safety and quality standards, including handling ingredients and maintaining sanitation.
- Operate the Micros POS system accurately for order processing, cash handling, and transactions.
- Provide friendly customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and upselling menu items to enhance guest satisfaction.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen and dining areas following food safety guidelines.
- Manage time effectively during busy hours to ensure quick service and smooth operations.
- Assist with food handling procedures, including proper storage, portioning, and adhering to health regulations.
- Support team members in serving guests promptly while demonstrating excellent communication skills.
Qualifications
- Previous food preparation or food industry experience is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is essential.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and processing transactions accurately.
- Experience with POS systems such as Micros POS is a plus; training will be provided if needed.
- Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures.
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment while managing time effectively.
