Our core values guide every aspect of our work, from client interactions to community engagement Youth Counsellor (Full Time Overnights) Chance The Youth Counsellor plays a pivotal role as a main support figure for young individuals here at Vantage. This awake overnight shift is 11:30pm – 8:00am Wednesday – Sunday each week and is vital to ensure around-the-clock support.

Additional ½ hour paid lunch period

We offer 3 additional statutory holidays for a total of 12 statutory holiday days each year An additional day off is also provided to be used during the Christmas holiday season Qualifications Diploma or undergraduate degree in Human Services (or actively enrolled), e.g., Child and Youth Care, Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, or related fields.

Experience working with young people is preferred.

Current certifications in Standard First Aid/Level C CPR, PIC, IRC, Valid Driver’sLicense, and Driver’s Abstract.

Location: On-site location in Red Deer, Alberta, Canada.
