Pavilion Co-operative Management is seeking a reliable, organized, and community-minded Building Superintendent to oversee the day-to-day operation of two residential properties: This is an excellent chance for someone who enjoys property maintenance, working with people, and taking pride in keeping buildings safe, clean, and well-maintained. About the Role The Superintendent works closely with Pavilion's Maintenance Coordinator and Housing Coordinator to ensure both properties are clean, safe, and operating efficiently. The successful candidate will serve as the primary on-site contact for tenants, contractors, and emergency situations. Key Responsibilities Property Maintenance Perform routine cleaning of common areas. Complete regular building inspections and walkthroughs. Carry out basic maintenance and preventative maintenance tasks.



Monitor building grounds, garbage areas, and seasonal snow/ice conditions. Meet contractors on site and provide access when required. Assist with coordinating landscaping, snow removal, garbage collection, and other contracted services. Conduct monthly fire alarm testing and maintain required records (training provided). Tenant & Property Support Respond to tenant concerns and report maintenance issues. Show vacant apartments to prospective tenants. Prepare vacant units for occupancy, including cleaning. Report maintenance requirements in vacant units. Respond to after-hours emergencies, alarms, and tenant lockouts.
