ATL Heavy Haul Inc. is looking for an experienced and motivated Sales Manager – Container & Logistics to grow our transportation business. The successful candidate must have excellent customer service skills, solid communication abilities, and experience developing long-term customer relationships.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and maintain relationships with key customers, fleet clients, brokers, and partners.
- Identify new business opportunities in container transportation and logistics services.
- Generate leads and create sales strategies to increase company growth.
- Understand customer needs and provide customized freight and transportation solutions.
- Prepare and present sales proposals and service packages.
- Negotiate contracts and close sales opportunities.
- Manage customer accounts and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Monitor competitor activities and market trends.
- Work with operations teams to deliver effective transportation solutions.
- Track sales performance and report progress regularly.
- Attend trade shows, conferences, and customer meetings.
SKILLS & COMPETENCIES:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong negotiation and sales skills.
- Ability to build customer trust and relationships.
- Problem-solving and strategic thinking skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of trucking, containers, freight, and logistics industry.
- Experience with sales software and computer systems.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 3+ years experience in trucking, logistics, transportation, or fleet sales.
- Container sales experience preferred.
- Inside sales and lead generation experience.
- Customer service and account management experience.
- Business Administration, Sales, or related education preferred.
