We are seeking Carpenters and Carpenter Labourers to join our Bridges Business Unit for a bridge project in Moose Jaw, SK starting in July. Candidates must be able to commute to and from the worksite.
Role Overview:
Reporting to the Bridges Supervisor, Carpenters support bridge construction activities and play a key role on the crew. Responsibilities include building and installing wooden or metal concrete forms for structures such as piers, retaining walls, abutments, columns, and bridge decks; cutting and assembling formwork from blueprints; erecting and securing forms; installing ties and anchors; and building temporary structures like scaffolding and safety railings. Duties also include handling form panels,



setting rails, assisting with concrete pours (vibrating, shoveling, raking), supporting finishers, and performing basic rebar tying. Ability to read and follow blueprints is required.
Qualifications:

Minimum 2+ years construction experience (heavy civil/industrial/commercial preferred)
Journeyman or Apprentice Carpenter certification is an asset
First Aid and Fall Protection training considered an asset
Physically fit and able to perform demanding work for extended periods
Comfortable working at heights and in challenging weather conditions
Robust teamwork and communication skills
Ability to follow instructions
Valid Class 5 drivers license and reliable transportation required
