Key Responsibilities:
- Develop effective frameworks for plasma operational scenarios
- Predict plasma behavior through gyrokinetic turbulence simulations
- Contribute to tools for edge plasma physics
- Support integrated modeling for plasma performance analysis
- Collaborate with engineers to optimize system design
Requirements:
- PhD in Plasma Physics, Computational Physics, or similar
- Solid grounding in plasma theory and numerical methods
- Experience with simulation codes and HPC environments
- Solid programming skills (Python, C++, Fortran)
- Team-oriented approach to multidisciplinary projects
