We are seeking a Relationship Manager, Distribution Services to join our Financial Horizons team. If you are a relationship-driven professional who thrives on delivering exceptional service, building trusted partnerships, and supporting high-value advisor relationships, we want to hear from you.

The Relationship Manager, Distribution Services serves as the primary point of contact and trusted resource for High Net Worth advisors working with the Compensation and Contracting teams. This role is responsible for proactively managing and advancing complex cases through end-to-end processing on behalf of High Net Worth advisors and their teams, while also acting as the key escalation point for issue resolution.

Managing a small portfolio of strategic partners and high-value relationships, the Relationship Manager provides expert guidance, support, and recommendations on complex cases. The role works closely with senior leadership, regularly providing updates on program progress, identifying opportunities for improvement, and influencing changes to processes and practices.

Success in this role requires staying attuned to industry trends, understanding the evolving needs of the High Net Worth market, and delivering an exceptional service experience.

This position follows a hybrid work model and is based out of the Financial Horizons office in Kitchener, Ontario, with a minimum expectation of two days per week working on-site.

What you will do

- Act as the contracting concierge through the onboarding process andestablishrelationships with High Net Worth (HNW) advisors once prospects areidentified
- Engage with advisors early in the recruitment process and consults on complex contract structures and provides recommendations
- Proactively collaborate internally to ensure all teams are engaged whenrequiredduring the onboarding process and report progress to management and sales




- Ongoing service review to ensure Financial Horizons grows/enhances with the advisor’s needs
- Proactive touch points with the advisor’s office on an established basis
- Track issues within Salesforce for visibility and trending to proactivelyanticipateand develop solutions
- Maintain an understanding of the operational requirements and meets with sales and the advisor during the recruitment process.

Commissions Training and Support

- Provide priority service for all commissions related issues including compensation site access, process review, carrier site support, and training
- Ensure advisors and their teams have a strong understanding of the compensation processes, support structures, systems, reporting, pay frequency etc. through training and ongoing proactive support
- Support customized reporting and capabilities within Financial Horizons and carriers – coordinate internally with key teams anddetermining existing special requirementsin place to guide solutions
- Perform review of Financial Horizons services and guide advisors on how to navigate through the various internal departments
- Provide carrier site support, validation of accesses granted, accessing carrier statements for analysis, and work closely with carrier partners for problem resolution and training
- Support creation of customized firm reporting in Salesforce and coordinate with the sales team for regular updating

What you will bring

- College diploma, University degree, or equivalent experience
- Industry courses and any professional/technical certifications or licenses would be an asset only
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in the insurance and financial services industry
- High level knowledge of MGA distribution services and processes, clientele in the market, and understanding of regional nuances for licensing
- Knowledgeof Wealthserv, carrier sites, APEXA
- Proven experience in all Microsoft Office applications
- French an asset
- Must have robust Interpersonal and communication skills
- Relationship management skills
- Technical, analytical, andproblem-solvingabilities
- Ability to provide creative solutions
- Proactive and an ability to influence

The base salary for this position is between $57,100 - $85,600 annually.



This represents base salary only and does not represent other variable compensation components of our total compensation ( i.e. annual bonus, commission etc).
