Job Summary:
Prepare flight crew monthly bid packages and awards tocomply withall pilot scheduling and collective agreement requirements, ensuring staffing levels are balanced on all schedules. Plan all pilot training requirementson a monthly basis.
Job duties and Responsibilities:
- Build operational pairings, integrate training schedules, and prepare bid packages.
- Generate monthly schedules from received bids.
- Monitor operations to determine required adjustments to crewing needs.
- Preplan recurrent line checks, monthly plan initial line checks based on training progress.
- Plan monthly training – simulator, ground training and line indoctrination.
- Liaise with Flight Ops training management to ensure planned training complies with department objectives and Canadian Aviation Regulations.
- Manage training changes throughout the month as adjustments become required.
Job Requirements and Qualifications:
- Relevant post-secondary diploma or degree.
- 2 years’ experience in crew scheduling/planning in an airline operation.
- High-level functional ability with Crew Planning/Scheduling software,PelesysLMS/QMS automation systems.
- Working knowledge of transport jetaircraftoperating regulations,documentationand equipment.
- Ability to work irregular hours and shift patterns from time to time.
- Ability to hold a RAIC andmaintain security clearance.
- Ability to work well independently under time and resource constraints within a team environment.
