As a Qualcomm Hardware Application Engineer, you will provide technical expertise of hardware through trainings, product demonstrations, and the design, debug, test, and quality support of customer products. Qualcomm Hardware Application Engineers collaborate with cross‑functional teams to assess the potential application of company products that meet and exceed customer needs.

Minimum Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field and 8+ years of Hardware Applications Engineering or Hardware Design experience or related work experience.
- Master's degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field and 7+ years of Hardware Applications Engineering or Hardware Design experience or related work experience.
- PhD in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field and 6+ years of Hardware Applications Engineering or Hardware Design experience or related work experience.

What You’ll Do

Be part of the IP team to work closely with Post‑Silicon Validation teams to qualify Qualcomm IPs. You will be involved in the post‑silicon validation of our in‑house test chips. Drive technical communication to customers from kick‑off to silicon bring‑up. Diagnose, debug, and resolve customers' issues during integration, simulation, implementation and silicon bring‑up. Occasional travel may be required. You will be reporting to the Director of Application Engineer.

What You’ll Need





- Bachelor's and/or Master's Degree in Electrical and/or Electronic Engineering.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in Post Silicon validation.
- Hands‑on experience with bench test equipment like oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and vector network analyzers (VNA).
- Experience in functional testing and ATE debug.
- Experience working in IP validation in one of the interfaces like USB, PCIe, Serdes, and UCIe.
- Experience working on automation languages such as Python/Perl/TCL.
