- Performs repairs on vehicles as assigned
- Performs vehicle inspections and assessments, including diagnosing issues
- Documents all work performed to manufacturer standards and/or recommendations on the repair order
- Road tests vehicles as required
- Ensures that customer cars are kept clean
- Attends all training courses as requested by service management
- Assists in training and supervising apprentice technicians
Qualifications
- 310S Automotive service technician trade certification, meeting provincial requirements
- Maintains all relevant licences and qualifications to perform duties
- Thorough knowledge of mechanical repairs and procedures
- Knowledge of provincial safety standards concerning the performance and area of position responsibility
- Valid Ontario driver’s licence and clean driver’s abstract
- Ability to drive manual transmission
- Ability to work cohesively with employees and managers as part of a team
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Ability to work efficiently and effectively under pressure with simultaneous deadlines
- Detail oriented and excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills

Competitive Compensation: Pay ranges from $31.00 to $43.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
