and production stability through continuous improvementWhat you’ll bring to the role:Strong technical leadership skills, with the ability to drive solution design, lead technical discussions, and influence engineering direction8+ years of hands-on software engineering experience, including significant design and architectural responsibility for complex applications in enterprise-scale environmentsStrong understanding of functional programming concepts, design patterns, n-tier architecture, and service-oriented designExperience with technologies such as Python, Shell scripting, or Scala is helpful; experience working in Linux environments is desirableExcellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in global teamsCuriosity, adaptability, and a solid motivation to learn and develop in a fast-paced environmentKnowledge of Financial Services or Commodities is a plusAt Morgan Stanley Montreal, we support the Firm’s global businesses and infrastructure with cutting edge technology and innovation.
