Apprentice Partsperson reports to the Warehouse Supervisor and is responsible for the receipt, secure storage, and proper issue of materials and supplies required for operations. This full‑time hourly position offers a 4x4 schedule of days and nights and requires reliable commuting to or relocation near Sparwood, B.C.

Responsibilities

- Participate in and adhere to health and safety programs and policies
- Ship, receive and securely store materials
- Set minimum/maximum stock levels, pick and fill orders, perform cycle and inventory counts
- Operate warehouse equipment safely, including industrial forklifts
- Perform heavy lifting in a safe manner
- Ensure safe and productive completion of warehouse storage related projects in a fast‑paced environment
- Identify opportunities to streamline business processes

Qualifications





- Registered 2nd or 3rd year Partsperson (Warehouseperson)
- Valid driver’s license
- Strong understanding of warehousing functions
- Ability to quickly master a materials management system
- Ability to multi‑task and meet challenges directly
- Strong organizational, interpersonal and communication skills
- Previous experience in a mining or industrial environment is considered an asset
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and ERP systems

Compensation

Hourly Wage: $47.17 - $48.83
