What You’ll Be Doing

- The Full Cycle: Own the journey from the first hello to the signed offer for engineering, product, and everything in between.
- Strategic Partnership: Work with engineering and product leaders to design hiring strategies that work in today’s market.
- Creative Sourcing: Use GitHub, niche communities, and your network. Leverage AI tools to work smarter, not harder.
- Operational Excellence: Keep our data clean and process disciplined with tight feedback loops.

Navigate compensation benchmarks and competing offers. Win without losing your cool.
- Brand Building: Tell the Beacon story and position us as a talent magnet in Toronto, San Francisco, and NYC.

What You Bring

- 7+ Years of Experience: Track record of senior engineering hires.
- Startup DNA: Thrived in high‑growth environments; write your own handbook.
- Technical Fluency: Understands the difference between a good engineer and a great one without heavy manager input.
- Communication: Polished, persuasive, authentic in cold outreach or offer calls.
- Autonomy: Self‑directed, prioritizes requisitions, manages time, delivers results.
- Hands‑on experience with up-to-date ATS platforms; Ashby or Greenhouse preferred.
- BA/BS Degree.
