Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee design and provide consulting services on HVDC systems
• Lead HVDC project teams and establish deliverable timelines
• Direct procurement and evaluation of HVDC technologies and equipment
• Support the commissioning and testing phases of HVDC facilities
• Represent Manitoba Hydro in technical societies and standards organizations
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with nine years of direct experience
• At least three years in a supervisory capacity
• Advanced understanding of HVDC controls and systems
• Ability to achieve Engineers Geoscientists Manitoba membership
• Must hold a valid Manitoba Driver's License
