Senior Manager, Domestic Tax – Privately Held Business Areas
Responsibilities
- Work with the Southern Ontario team and be supported by a national network of professionals.
- Assist businesses and individuals with a wide range of tax, financial and succession planning services.

- Collaborate with clients and co‑workers to develop and implement creative solutions.
- Engage closely with clients on a variety of local, national and international projects.
Additional Responsibilities and Leadership
- Develop exceptional tax planning ideas and solutions to support client business objectives.
- Lead the management and development of the growing tax practice.
- Assist clients with income tax planning, implementation and compliance for complex private business corporate, personal and trust matters.
- Identify, develop and pursue new opportunities for value‑added tax services.
- Provide exceptional client service and stay attuned to recent legislation, interpretations and market factors.
- Coach and mentor professional staff.
- Prepare and present information to clients, colleagues and other professionals.
Qualifications
- Completion of the CPA Canada In‑Depth Tax Program or a Masters of Taxation degree.
- Substantive expertise in succession, trust and estate matters within private business tax planning and compliance.
- Demonstrated commitment to exceptional client service.
- Ability to develop, present and apply new ideas, creative approaches and innovative solutions.
- Strong teamwork and independent work skills.
- Interest in coaching and development, with a commitment to personal growth.
- Excellence in product quality and attention to detail.
- Team player able to rally resources and collaborate to meet client needs.
