Infrastructure & Capital Projects - Readiness Manager, COM
Job Overview

At Accenture Infrastructure & Capital Projects, you’ll help develop and deliver the factories, grids, transit systems, and public infrastructure that keep communities moving.
You’ll work alongside project managers, engineers, technologists, and strategists to transform capital project planning, management, and execution.
Responsibilities
- Lead operational readiness strategy and roadmap for the Metrolinx extension.
- Coordinate readiness across engineering, construction, operations, and safety teams.
- Support commissioning planning, integrated testing, and trial operations.
- Develop and maintain readiness documentation (System Safety Certification Strategy, System Definition Document, CPG Recommendation Reports, Risk Assessment Completion Declarations, Panel Presentations, Hazard Record, etc.).
- Plan and execute readiness panels and submissions aligned with project timelines (SRP/ORP/ISA/MSCC).
- Coordinate low/high risk appraisals with SSA/ISA for all project scope.
- Attend recurring Readiness Control Board & ISA touchpoints.
- Conduct weekly touchpoints with Mx PDT to track readiness progress and adjust strategy.
- Continuously improve readiness processes to reduce friction.
- Oversee operational documentation, training materials, and asset information for handover.
- Maintain readiness risk register and prepare executive reporting.
Working Conditions
Office‑based (5 days in office).
Experience
- 7–10 years’ experience in major transit or infrastructure projects.
- Minimum of 12 years of experience in Project Management.
Education
- Degree in Engineering, Project Management, Transportation, or a related field, or relevant demonstrable experience.
Licenses or Certifications
- Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent.
Skills and Competencies
- Strong knowledge of commissioning, systems integration, and operations.
- Proficient in project management methods and tools.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office and project management software.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Ability to prioritize and manage competing risks with minimal leadership input.
- Experience in supervising, delegating, and developing capacity.
- Proactive in anticipating, identifying, and mitigating risks.
- Collaborative, independent, and able to work in a technology‑driven environment.
- Innovative thinking and commitment to continuous improvement.
Compensation
Base pay range ( Toronto ): $141,000 to $211,000 annually.
