Role: Technical Project Manager – Cloud Security & Architecture Programs

Title: AVP/VP

Location: Montreal, QC(Day 1 Onsite/Hybrid) – Fulltime

Mode of Work: 3 days/week onsite required

Role Overview

The Technical Project Manager will lead and coordinate cloud‑security initiatives across the organization, ensuring successful delivery of security architecture assessments, cloud‑security tooling integrations, configuration‑baseline enhancements, and vulnerability‑management workflows. This role partners closely with Cloud Security Engineering, DevOps, Architecture, and Security Operations teams to drive execution, maintain program governance, and ensure all cloud‑security capabilities are embedded into firmwide processes. The ideal candidate combines solid technical understanding of cloud‑security domains with disciplined project‑management and stakeholder‑management skills.

Key Responsibilities

Program & Project Delivery

- Manage end‑to‑end delivery of cloud‑security initiatives, including architecture assessments, tooling integrations, configuration‑baseline updates, and logging enhancements.
- Develop project plans, timelines, milestones, and reporting dashboards to ensure clear visibility and accountability across all workstreams.
- Coordinate cross‑functional teams to ensure timely execution, risk mitigation, and alignment with enterprise security standards.

Cloud Security Architecture Coordination

- Partner with Security Engineers to scope and schedule security architecture assessments for cloud applications.

- Track remediation actions, design‑gap closure, and secure‑by‑design adoption across engineering teams.

- Ensure architecture findings are documented, prioritized, and integrated into ongoing cloud‑security programs.

Cloud Security Tooling & Integration Oversight

- Oversee the integration of Wiz and other cloud‑security platforms into cloud environments.

- Ensure detective controls, configuration baselines, and Enhanced Zone (EZ) requirements are implemented consistently across all accounts.

- Track progress of vulnerability‑scanning enablement and ensure findings flow into firmwide remediation processes.

Risk, Governance & Reporting

- Maintain program‑level reporting on cloud‑security posture, tooling adoption, configuration‑baseline compliance, and vulnerability‑management progress.
- Identify risks, blockers, and dependencies; escalate and resolve issues to keep programs on track.
- Ensure all cloud‑security initiatives align with enterprise SDLC, security‑control frameworks, and audit requirements.

Stakeholder & Cross‑Team Management





- Serve as the central coordination point between Cloud Security Engineering, DevOps, Architecture, Product, and Security Operations.
- Facilitate regular status meetings, executive updates, and cross‑team communication.
- Ensure stakeholders understand priorities, timelines, and required actions.

Qualifications

- 5-7 years of experience in technical project management, program management, or cloud‑security delivery roles.
- Strong understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and modern cloud‑security concepts.
- Experience managing projects involving cloud‑security tooling (Wiz, Prisma, Lacework, etc.).
- Proven ability to lead cross‑functional technical teams and drive complex initiatives to completion.
- Strong communication, stakeholder‑management, and executive‑reporting skills.
- Experience with SDLC, security governance, and vulnerability‑management processes is preferred.
