RVA’s Niagara office is looking for an Engineering Technologist to join their team.

Responsibilities

- Assist in the design of municipal Water / Wastewater facilities, including water and wastewater treatment plants, pumping stations, reservoirs, CSO tanks, as well as linear infrastructure such as forcemains, watermains and sewers.
- Prepare drawings for both vertical and linear infrastructure projects.
- Prepare engineering design calculations and technical reports.
- Attend client meetings and prepare meeting minutes as required.
- Assist in the preparation of tender specifications for projects.
- Work in the field to gather data for projects.
- Site review during construction as required.
- Other duties as required where appropriate for the position.

Qualifications

- Recent college graduate from a 3 year Civil/Municipal Engineering program or a College Diploma in Civil Engineering Technology.
- 0-7 years of relevant work experience is preferred.
- Able to obtain CET designation with OACETT is preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Some experience with surveying equipment including GNSS receivers.




- Able to be trained in Confined Space Entry procedures and undertake man-entry inspections into sewers and structures as required.
- Demonstrated experience with REVIT and AutoCAD.
- Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Access.
- Highly organized with the ability to coordinate work across multiple teams and job sites.
- Demonstrates superior English communication skills both oral and written.
- A valid G driver’s license and reliable vehicle is required.

Compensation Range

The salary range for this position is: $60,000.00 - $85,000.00
