Located just minutes south of metropolitan Savannah, the city boasts over 19,800 residents and a small‑town charm. The Police Department has approximately 50 full‑time and 2 part‑time employees, with an annual general‑fund operating budget of $6.9 million. Responsibilities The Police Chief will serve on the city’s leadership team, exemplifying ethical standards, collaboration, and a proven record of leading a professional police department.
