Enhance quality systems as a QMS Engineer at Semtech in Burlington, ON, focusing on ISO standards and internal auditing. Your contributions will advance quality across global operations.
In this role, you will report to the Senior Manager of Quality Management Systems, managing the internal audit program and leading ISO compliance efforts. This position is temporary for 14 months, possibly evolving into a full time role based on individual and business performance.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and execute internal audits to ISO standards globally
• Prepare and present comprehensive audit reports to management
• Ensure effective resolution of audit findings and CAPA processes
• Engage in continual improvement initiatives within the QMS




• Foster collaboration across departments to achieve quality objectives
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s or 2-year diploma in an engineering discipline
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in quality roles
• Certified Lead Auditor for applicable ISO standards
• Proficiency in 8D, FMEA, and RCA methodologies
• Ability to communicate effectively at all levels
