- Lead a team of project engineers supporting operations across all P&WC; product family range.
- Define and achieve product requirements for various projects.
- Ensure product safety remains a top priority at all times.
- Lead multidisciplinary teams to achieve KPIs such as weight, cost, and reliability while ensuring other requirements from other organizations are met.
- Lead the substantiation and validation activities to meet type certification requirements.
- Ensure commitments, budget tracking and resource planning are met.
Qualifications
- Engineering degree with a minimum of 15 years of relevant experience.
- Strong understanding of gas turbines from design, validation, and certification aspects acquired across at least one engineering discipline and at least one external assignment (e.g., Marketing, Operations, Customer Support).
- Capability to manage a team and demonstrate strong leadership.
- Highly adaptable and able to work under pressure; able to accommodate priority changes based on available information and reconcile diverging opinions to support business objectives and emerging priorities.
- Strong communication skills both internal and external, accountability and well organized.
- Member of Ordre des Ingénieurs du Québec or Qualified Engineers of Ontario.
- Available for travel sometimes under short notice and supportive off-hour requests.
- Good knowledge of English to read and understand technical documentation on a daily basis and to write/communicate in English with customers, suppliers or international colleagues.
